The Rose Festival is held on the third Sunday of June in Bulgaria. Bulgaria is famous for roses, and the roses there have a beautiful deep color. The festival starts at the beginning of the rose-harvesting period. Bulgarians parade, pick roses, do barn dances, and choose a rose queen. Women wear beautiful traditional costumes. You can buy some cosmetics such as pure rose oil and massage salt at the festival. Everything there is made from roses.
