1 Would You Mind

❌ Misuse: Would you mind to close the window?

✅ Correction: Would you mind closing the window?

2 Too Much

❌ Misuse: She is too much beautiful.

✅ Correction: She is very beautiful.

3 Let Me Know

❌ Misuse: Please let me know if you have a question.

✅ Correction: Please let me know if you have any questions.

4 How Do You Think

❌ Misuse: How do you think about this movie?

✅ Correction: What do you think about this movie?

5 By My Side

❌ Misuse: I want you to be by my side forever. (casual)

✅ Correction: I want you to stay with me.

6 Lend and Borrow

❌ Misuse: Can you borrow me your pen?

✅ Correction: Can you lend me your pen?

7 No Problem

❌ Misuse: No problem. (in reply to “Thank you”)

✅ Correction: You're welcome.

8 Enjoy

❌ Misuse: I enjoyed to watch the movie.

✅ Correction: I enjoyed watching the movie.

9 Take a Rest

❌ Misuse: I want to take a rest for a while.

1. Job
「職業」や「仕事のポジション」を意味します。給料をもらってする「仕事」。可算名詞（a job）。
例文:
I got a new job at a bank.
　私は銀行で新しい仕事を得ました。
Teaching is a very good job.
　教師というのは、とてもやりがいのある仕事です。

2. Work
「働くこと」や「仕事全体の活動」を意味します。努力や作業を表すことが多い。不可算名詞（a work は✕）。
例文:
I have a lot of work to do today.今日はやるべき仕事がたくさんあります。
He works in a hospital as a doctor.　彼は病院で医者として働いています。

3. Task 「作業」や「課題」という意味。大きな仕事(work)の中の小さな部分。可算名詞（a task / two tasks）。
例文:
My first task today is to reply to emails.今日の最初の作業はメールに返信することです。
The teacher gave us three tasks for homework.　先生は宿題として3つの課題を出しました。

4. Chore 「雑用」「家事」を意味します。日常生活でやらなければならない、あまり楽しくない作業。可算名詞（a chore / many chores）。
例文:
Washing the dishes is my daily chore.皿洗いは私の日課の雑用です。
Children should help with household chores.　子どもたちは家事を手伝うべきです。
