We had our first (and probably our last) snow of the year on Saturday and Sunday. I love snow. It makes me feel like a boy again. I just want to go outside and play in it. Unfortunately, this was not the right weekend for it to snow. I had to help with the Center Test at my university, so I had to stay inside all day long. The snow delayed some trains, and several people arrived late. Even though I couldn’t go outside during the day, I enjoyed walking to the university on Sunday morning. Britain has started to make its money out of plastic. Last month, it came out with a plastic 5 pound note. Most countries still use paper money, so why is Britain changing? Australia was the first country to change to plastic. They did it because they were having problems with people making counterfeit paper money. Plastic bills are almost impossible to copy. Another reason is that plastic lasts longer. You can wash your money by mistake and it will be fine. I wonder if other countries are going to change and start using this new technology.
