According to a BBC news article “people who exercise regularly are less likely to get a cold” (BBC News, 2 Nov. 2010). The article concerns a study conducted in America. The study examined 1,000 volunteers, over a three-month period, asking them to report how frequently that they exercised for over 20 minutes with enough intensity to break a sweat. The findings showed that those who were physically active on five or more days of the week were unwell with a cold for about five days compared to nine days for those who did little or no exercise.
