Who talks more, men or women? Scientists did a study using American and Mexican college students and found that there wasn’t much difference. On average, both use about 16,000 words per day. The differences between each individual can be much bigger. For example, the most talkative men used more than 45,000 words per day while the least talkative used less than 500.
