On the evening of Father’s Day in 2014, there was a TV special on the greatest fathers in the world. The emperor penguins probably have the hardest job: when the female lays the egg, she leaves the male to look after it. The male has to spend two months without eating, just keeping the egg warm until the baby hatches. The African bull frog is probably the bravest father: he fights with snakes and even cows if they get near his eggs. The gorilla is probably the gentlest father. Voice recognition software is amazing. I can talk to my cell phone and it types exactly what I say as long as I speak slowly. I have an American accent, but I wonder if it can understand people with accents from other countries. There is a funny video that shows how accents can be a problem. Two men from Scotland with strong Scottish accents get on an elevator with voice recognition software. They need to say the floor number, but the elevator doesn’t understand them when they say 11.
